Abstract

Background: The success of maternal health efforts can be seen from the indicators of maternal mortality. Efforts to accelerate MMR reduction can be done by ensuring that every mother is able to access quality ANC services.

Objective: To evaluate the implementation of ANC 10T service standards at Puskesmas (Public Health Center) Semanu II, Gunung Kidul Regency.

Method: It is a qualitative research using a phenomenological approach. The sampling technique was purposive sampling with a sample size of 5 midwives and 1 laboratory officer. Information was obtained using in-depth interviews, observation, and document review. Evaluation was carried out using the CIPP method, which was evaluated starting from the context, input, process, and product. Data analysis was carried out starting from collecting data, reducing data, presenting data, and concluding.

Result: context evaluation showed that there were still unfulfilled needs from the target. The input evaluation revealed that there were still obstacles in the distribution / division of HR tasks, as well as the absence of socialization and specific SOPs regarding the ANC 10T service standard. The process evaluation showed that the implementation of the ten components of the ANC 10T standard had not been carried out optimally in accordance with the existing procedures / management and some obstacles were still encountered. The product evaluation showed that there was an achievement of the ANC 10T standard service goals but the results were not optimal, namely starting from the implementation of the ten components 10T by midwives, K1 and K4 achievements, complications of pregnant women and the absence of maternal and infant mortality.

Conclusion: the implementation of the ANC 10T service standard indicated some achievements as from the implementation objectives, but the results were not yet optimal. This was because some obstacles were still encountered and it is necessary to make improvements to be able to continue their implementation in the future to achieve optimal results.
