PENGARUH PENYULUHAN MEDIA LEAFLET TERHADAP TINGKAT PENGETAHUAN DAN DUKUNGAN SUAMI TENTANG KELUARGA BERENCANA

Abstract

Fertile Age Pairs are the target of family planning programs, there are some of all fertile age couples who decide not to take advantage of family planning programs called unmet need. The purpose of the study was to analyze the level of knowledge and support of the husband about family planning on the unmet need before and after treatment. The study was conducted in the working area of ​​the Tampa Padang Health Center in the Kalukku District of Mamuju Regency, West Sulawesi Province. Research methods with Quasy Experimental (pretest-posttest with control group). The sampling technique using Simple Random Sampling is 48 fertile age couples. The results of the study using the Wilcoxon test showed there were significant differences between the husband's knowledge before and after counseling in the lecture group and the experimental group with a p-value of 0,000. While the husband's support with Mac Nemar test there was no difference between husband's support before and after counseling with p-value = 0.063> (p = 0.05) in the lecture group while the experimental group there was a difference between husband's support before and after counseling with p -value = 0,000 <(p = 0.05). The conclusion is the influence of media leaflet counseling on the level of husband's knowledge and support about family planning in the unmet need in the working area of ​​the Tampa Padang Public Health Center, Kalukku District, Mamuju Regency, West Sulawesi Province in 2020.
