PERAN MODEL KOMUNIKASI ORANG TUA DAN REMAJA (MOSI-RAJA) TERHADAP SIKAP TENTANG PERILAKU SEKSUAL BERISIKO
Abstract
Adolescence is a period of transition from childhood to adulthood. Teenagers need to get coaching and education as a nation-building asset that will be formed into quality human resources. The big challenge for teenagers in this modern era is the development of social media, gadgets that have a big influence on adolescent relationships, including risky behavior. Risk behavior in adolescents is obtained from unhealthy relationships and inaccurate information. Open communication between parents and adolescents will be a big strong foundation for attitudes towards risky sexual behavior. MOSI-RAJA is a Communication Model for Parents and Adolescents is a model that is based on qualitative research on risky sexual behavior in adolescents. The MOSI-RAJA preparation was prepared based on information from adolescent psychology experts, language experts and youth program stakeholders at the Health Service who needed to be tested. This study aims to determine the effect of MOSI-RAJA on parents' attitudes about risky sexual behavior in adolescents.This research is a quasi-experimental study with a pretest-posttest control group design method. Respondents were parents of teenagers who met the inclusion criteria who were divided into the treatment group and the control group, each with 21 people. Data analysis with unpaired t test, paired t test, Mann Whitney U and Wilcoxon.Most of the respondents in the treatment and control groups were in the 40-49 year age group. Education in the treatment group was 61.9% high school and in the control group 42.9% college, almost all respondents in both groups did not work (90.5%). There was a difference in attitude (p<0.05) between the treatment and control groups. Raja's motion has an effect on increasing parents' attitudes towards risky sexual behavior.
