PENGARUH PENGETAHUAN ORANG TUA TENTANG STIMULASI TUMBUH KEMBANG TERHADAP PERKEMBANGAN MOTORIK KASAR
Abstract
Introduction Motor development is closely related to physical activity. Early detection and intervention in children with developmental disorders, so that if the child's motor development is disturbed, then further development will be disrupted if not handled properly, let alone not detected, will reduce the quality of human resources in the future. So every parent needs to know how to detect early and stimulate gross motor development in children. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of parental knowledge about stimulation on gross motor development at Aisyiyah Kindergarten, Sidrap Regency. The average result of respondents' knowledge increased after being given knowledge about stimulating children's growth and development related to gross motor skills. This research shows that there is an effect of health education on mother's knowledge about the stimulation of children's gross motor development in Kindergarten Aisyiyah, Sidrap Regency, p value (p = 0.000). Conclusion Stimulation is very important for the development and growth of children. Lack of stimulation can cause deviations in child development and even permanent disorders. The development of children's basic abilities has a fixed pattern and takes place sequentially.
