Abstract

Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) is an approach to evidence-based clinical decision-making processes to achieve high-quality healthcare. Individual beliefs about EBP can directly influence the implementation of EBP. Nurses' belief in the value of EBP is very important to be able to improve the quality of health care outcomes. This study aimed to see the level of belief of nursing professional program students regarding the implementation of EBP. This descriptive study involved 140 students with total sampling technique.  Ners Professional Program at Universitas Padjadjaran using total sampling technique. Data were collected using the Evidence-Based Practice Belief Scale consisting of four domains, 16 question items, with a Cronbach alpha of 0.90 and then the data were analyzed descriptively. In the four domains examined in this study, the domain of belief in the ability to find EBP sources had the lowest score and the domain of believing that EBP is easy had the highest score. Thus, it is important for the Ners Professional study program to further improve EBP learning methods, especially to improve the domain of belief in the ability to find sources.
