PEMANFAATAN PELAYANAN TRIPLE ELIMINASI DALAM DETEKSI DINI RISIKO INFEKSI HIV, SIFILIS, DAN HEPATITIS B DARI IBU KE ANAK

Abstract

Sexually transmitted diseases in pregnancy have an impact on increasing morbidity for mothers and children. One of the preventions that can be done is through early detection of triple elimination examination against the transmission of HIV, syphilis, and hepatitis B from pregnant women to children. Hepatitis B, HIV, and syphilis during pregnancy have an impact on increasing morbidity, disability, and death in mothers and children. These conditions require health care and long-term treatment and quite a lot of financing. The purpose of this study was to determine the utilization of triple elimination services for pregnant women and factors. The research method is quantitative observational studies with a cross-sectional. The population is pregnant women with a sample of 158. The data obtained primary data with a questionnaire, data analysis used univariate, bivariate with the Chi-square test, and multivariate analysis by multiple regression test Enter method. Results showed 91 (57%) had utilized triple elimination services, of the 9 variables 7 were significant: age p=0.050 (POR 2.418, CI: 1.073 – 5.45), parity  p= 0.040 (POR 2.130, CI: 1.089-4.170), knowledge p=0.004 (POR 2.73, CI: 1.425-5.236), mother's attitude p= 0.006 (POR 2.604, CI: 1.361-4.982), access to information p= 0.000 (POR 5.598, CI: 2.785-11.254) and support from health workers p= 0.000 (POR 14.16), husband's support p= 0.000 (POR 8.898 CI: 4.289-18.464). The support of husbands and health workers is the most correlated utilization of triple elimination services.
