EFEKTIVITAS VARIASI WAKTU KONTAK SINAR INFRAMERAH TERHADAP PENURUNAN ANGKA KUMAN PADA ALAT MAKAN
Abstrak
Food is the main human need needed by the body. Health problems because food can be caused by eating utensils that do not meet the requirements.The number of germs on cutlery does not meet the requirements with a germ rate of an average of 452 colonies / cm². This study aims to determine the differences in the variation of contact time of infrared rays against decreasing the number of germs on cutlery. The research hypothesis is that there is a difference in the contact time of infrared irradiation against the decrease in the number of germs on cutlery. This research is experimental with a post-test with control design, where there are 3 treatments of contact time of 6 minutes, 8 minutes and 10 minutes with many repetitions of 6 times. The study population was 37 plates and 42 spoons, the sample size was 24 samples. Purposive Random Sampling sampling technique. Data analysis performed by one way anova. The average percentage decrease in germ contact time is 6 minutes, 8 minutes and 10 minutes, respectively by 29.15%, 76.69%, and 99.94%. The effective contact time is 10 minutes.
