EFEKTIVITAS EDUKASI PENCEGAHAN HIV DAN AIDS BERBASIS ONLINE TERHADAP PERILAKU KESEHATAN BERISIKO HIV/AIDS PADA PENYANDANG DISABILITAS TUNAWICARA

Abstract

One of the health problems for people with speech impairments is related to sexual and reproductive health, including the lack of comprehensive knowledge about HIV. Analyze online-based HIV and AIDS prevention education on health behaviours at risk of HIV/AIDS in people with speech impairments. This study uses the Pre-Post test Control Group Design. The study was conducted in the Bogor City area in 2021. Sampling was carried out by systematic random sampling with a sample of 30 people in each group. Variables were measured using pre-test and post-test instruments before and after being given intervention treatment in the form of education with sign language videos about HIV and AIDS prevention. Statistical test using Wilcoxon and Mann Whitney test. The results of the study found that online-based education using HIV and AIDS prevention videos for people with speech impairments was effective in increasing knowledge and attitudes of speech-impaired people in preventing the risky behaviour of respondents with a p value of 0.000. The study  concludes of the study is that the characteristics of the research respondents are pretty varied in education, age, occupation, sources of information about HIV and AIDS as well as video education on HIV and AIDS prevention on Online-Based People with Disabilities, which are meaningful or effective  in increasing knowledge, attitudes of speech-disabled persons and effective in preventing risky behavior respondent.
