EFEKTIFITAS VARIASI JUMLAH PLATE SETTLER GREASE TRAP MEREDUKSI KADAR MINYAK DAN LEMAK LIMBAH CAIR TEKSTIL
Abstrak
- S is one of the textile industries that produce fabrics that have been dyed (colored) so as to produce liquid waste products so that it needs to be processed. Production liquid waste contains high levels of oil and fat which have the potential to pollute the environment. One method of reducing the oil and fat content of liquid waste products is to use a grease trap reactor using a variety of plate settler variations. The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of variations in the number of plate settlers 16, 18, 20 plates in a grease trap reactor against decreasing oil content and production liquid waste oil. The research design carried out was a pre-post test without control with a sample size of 36 samples from 6 repetitions. The results showed an average decrease in oil and fat content for plate number 16 plates, 18 plates, and 20 plates were 2.73 mg / L, 2.18 (74.94%) and 1.57 (81.86%). The One Way Anova test results show a P value of 0,000 <α (0,05), meaning that there is effective variation in the number of plate settlers to decrease oil and fat content. The number of plate settlers that are effective in reducing oil and fat content to meet the standard is 20 plates.
