PERBEDAAN VARIASI WAKTU KONTAK SINAR UV-C TERHADAP PENURUNAN ANGKA TOTAL KUMAN ALAT MAKAN

Abstrak

Food is an important thing to maintain life as an energy source for those who consume it. Helath problems can be caused by food and possicontaminated through cutlery that used for served the food for the employees. This study aims to determine difference of variation UV-C light contatct time with a decrease in the total number of germs in cutlery (spoons and glasses) at canteen of PT. Chitose International Tbk. The design with post test with control design with 3 treatment, specifically using UV-C light for 15 minutes, 18 minutes and 21 minutes. Repetition in each of thes studies using anova test. Based on the UV-C light sample with a duration of 15 minutes with a percentage of 90.31%, 18 minutes with percentage of 96.28% and 21 minutes with a percentage 99.34%.
